Community FITT (or C-FITT) is a one-year study funded by Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute focused on supporting community based early intervention providers in learning the FITT intervention and implementing it with their families in rural North Carolina. We will develop a training and coaching model for EI providers in underserved areas and will study how feasible it is for community providers to use and its impacts of families and their toddlers on the autism spectrum. We are actively recruiting early intervention providers in rural communities to participate in focus groups, training sessions, and to implement FITT with clients on their caseload.
